ANGOLA CUSTOMS
Per below, SEFCO relays customs information for the general guidance of our clientele (January 2014)
Sefco shall not be held responsible for any advice, misadvice or information given regarding customs regulations, port fees, etc. at port of destination.
Below are complete instructions and required documents for obtaining the CNCA Certificate.
Please, read completely and carefully.
Request cannot be made until you can obtain a proof or verify copy of the B/L from the Carrying Steamship Line.
BASIC CNCA FEES
$60.00 Emolument PLUS Data Processing Fee* PER BILL OF LADING
*Data Processing Fee:
$100.00 per 20’ Container per B/L
200.00 per 40’ Container per B/L
5.00 per Total Gross Weight or Measure (whichever is greater) for Break Bulk or RORO cargo per B/L
TO AVOID DELAYS IN PROCESSING YOUR REQUEST, DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR EACH REQUEST ARE:
1: COPY OF VALID IMPORTER TAXPAYER CARD (CARTA DE CONTRIBUINTE) MANDATORY(we will need a copy for each request)
2: COPY OF LINE B/L. IF House B/L (NVO) is presented, send unrated copy of LINE B/L also.
3. SIGNED COPY OF THE FREIGHT INVOICE, MANDATORY - charges that customer has paid to ship the cargo.
4. NEED LIST OF CONTAINER NUMBERS IN EXCEL FORMAT (if more than 5 container numbers)
5. MANDATORY APPLICATION FORM (filled out completely and returned in EXCEL FORMAT). Copy attached along with an OUTLINE to aid in filling out the APPLICATION FORM.
6. SIGNED COPY OF COMMERCIAL INVOICE
When your emailed request are submitted, thank you for your help in submitting all documents when first requested to avoid delays that are caused by not submitting all the information correctly.
Upon receipt of the completed docs, we will generate your invoices and email them back to you. You will then need to send payment (company check, money order or wire transfer) AND a pre-paid, filled out return so that we can send the Original CNCA Certificate to you. WE DO NOT FILL OUT AWB LABELS OR PROVIDE RETURN SERVICE. Once payment and return are received in our office, request will go in line for processing. We ask that you allow approximately 3 business days, from receipt of funds, to prepare your documents.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: "THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES AFTER VALIDATION OF THE CNCA CERTFICATE"
URGENT NOTICE: WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THERE WILL BE NO AMENDMENT TO THE CNCA CERTIFICATE AFTER CUSTOMER HAS APPROVED THE PROOF COPY. PLEASE CHECK YOUR DRAFTS CAREFULLY THAT ALL INFORMATION IS CORRECT BEFORE YOU APPROVE THEM.
1. Upon receipt funds and return in our office, your request will go in line with Processing to issue the AMOSTRA (draft copy) of the CNCA Certificate.
2. AMOSTRA will be emailed to you for proofing and approval with your signature and printed name in Box No. 12 at the bottom of the draft
3. Any revision of the AMOSTRA must coincide with the B/L presented or a new revised B/L from the Line must be presented.
4. For revision only. OIC will resubmit revised AMOSTRA for your signature and printed name in Box No. 12
5. Validated Certificate will only be issued upon receipt of your signed, finalized AMOSTRA copy
PLEASE NOTE: AMOSTRA CANNOT BE USED TO CLEAR THE CARGO. ANGOLA CUSTOMS WILL ONLY ACCEPT VALIDATED, ORIGINAL CNCA CERTIFICATE.
We will send the Original CNCA Documents to you via the return you have provided.
