$ 300.00 min* -   Handling - combined support staff handling up to 2-hr. (normal handling)

(a) Sefco Export-Import Rating Service: This covers the initial examination of the subject
cargo specifications and requirements,
cargo weight/measurement analysis, our routing recommendation,
checking multiple competitive carriers for service on one (1) port-port route,
obtain formal confirmation by known carrier(s) in that trade lane for a confirmed rate (all quotes valid up to 30 days only),
freight rating/measurement and surcharge calculation, and
preparation/forwarding of shipping/handling cost via email.
We will follow up on the resulting analysis and rating to help answer any questions.
Our Export Import Rating Service
is subject to a minimum $250 initial retainer

There is no obligation to actually ship the subject cargo with Sefco.

Payment of our retainer/fee for the rating service
is require in advance of any research/analysis/verifications. Upon receipt of your payment at the outset, we can dedicate serious time and attention to the project.
Our rating service fee/retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE.

B/R booking request submission to carrier,
B/C booking confirmation details from carrier,
details forwarded to shipper with any updated sailing information.
Optional Services: origin services (local services, 3rd party packaging/loading/pickup, inland transport),
marine insurance, courier, DDC-destination door delivery, other
Additional Services (where applicable)
Non-US exports ("imports" and 3rd country-3rd country shipments) subject to $ 975 minimum lumpsum booking/handling fee per 40-FT FCL/FEU container.
The min. booking/handling charge for LCL port/port bookings applies to both Import and Export consignments
(plus export/import clearance fees, local charges at origin, shipping/handling, DDC destination clearance and delivery).

Any local charges at origin: OA-origin agent charges (pack, load, storage/detention), export-import clearances, local customs formalities, any other local service is in addition to basic freight/transport costs and remains for the account and responsibility of the cargo owner.
If local charges are handled through Sefco, banking and other handling fees will apply.
Any US customs ISF docs for pre-export clearance must be signed and returned to Sefco
or the designated customs broker prior to export and ships departure.

Any destination charges - US customs clearances (optional) pier pickup/door delivery (optional)
are to be prepaid prior cargo release. Customs brokers/agents must be selected and pre-alerted to their involvement.
Any customs requirements remain the obligation of the cargo owner/shipper/consignee; TRC/terminal fees,
Vacis X-ray fees, P/E physical examination labor (if ordered by customs), weighing of cargo where required, remain for property owners account.
Should Sefco refer our US Customs broker to handle ISF/importer security filings/US customs entry,
their name will be shown on the B/L as an "also notify party".
If importer is self-clearing customs/designating their own US Customs broker to handle,
please confirm their name, address, phone number, so that can be shown on the BL draft.
