**important note
Concerning intermodal moves coming from US interior locations:
EIB'S equipment imbalances are where there is a
real shortage of containers at a certain location
and they have to be railed in from another location.
This can have an impact on intermodal/precarriage costs,
driving the prices up by over $1000.00.
There is no indication when EIB's can happen
or when they will end in a certain area.
Rates include:
- "Live-Load" - 2-hours free waiting time by our trucker at your door, live positioning at door.
(trucker waiting time while being loaded).
- OS&H-shipping/handling, US/Ireland GRI-steamship line rate increase (10-2004), US-inland trucking from the US container yard (pick-up), container drayage-trucking to your residence-door (delivery), and then re-delivery of the loaded conainer back to the piers...for shipment to Ireland.
