Rates include:
- Pickup of empty Steamship-line ocean container from the port-depot at origin
- Trucking to your door-within approximately 20-miles of origin-cities shown,
- 2-hrs normal "live-load" waiting time,
- Re-delivery of the sealed and loaded container to the departure-port,
- Normal export handling/documentation
- ocean shipping charges to arrival at the overseas port of Bremerhaven
&/or Hamburg, Germany (unless otherwise noted).
- Overseas - pickup of the container from the overseas port in Germany
- Trucking / delivery of the container to your door in the general area shown
- 2-hrs. free waiting time by our trucker with the container at destination residence for "live unload" by owner (unless you prefer that we provide labor / professional movers at destination to unload/unpack everything for you-at extra cost)
- Return of the empty ocean-container back to the port.
**important note
Concerning intermodal moves coming from US interior locations:
EIB'S equipment imbalances are where there is a
real shortage of containers at a certain location
and they have to be railed in from another location.
This can have an impact on intermodal/precarriage costs,
driving the prices up by over $1000.00.
There is no indication when EIB's can happen
or when they will end in a certain area.
