        Courier Services

      Any accessorial services
        Local services beyond port/port shipping & handling:
        couriers, other local charges at origin/destination, marine insurance,
        - unless specifically prepaid for in advance -
        remain for the account of the cargo owner / shipper-consignee.

      New & Existing Accounts needing courier service:
      For service requiring original document dispatch,
      please provide a FedEx account number for billing purposes.

      Please Note

      All titled cargo (cars, trucks, other) requires export validation by US Customs.

      This requires presentation of originals to Customs at the port of loading.

      After Customs has received and approved the originals, titles and supporting documents are generally returned by the SS Line's port agent to SEFCO's main adminstrative office.

      Unless otherwise instructed, any original title/docs sent to Sefco after pier delivery/from the SS Line, will be returned via USPS Regular Mail to the USA Mailing address of the shipper/paying customer. If you need titles returned to a different address please confirm where and how you would want any originals returned.

      Upon request and where needed, Sefco uses FedEx for express courier of original documents.
      Please provide our office with your FedEx account number for billing purposes. SEFCO can send documents overseas via FedEx provided we are given a FedEx account number for billing and the exact name, street address (not only a PO Box) and phone number for the receiving party.

        DOCUMENT DELIVERY OPTIONS   for Sefco Export customers

          Regular Mail / No tracking - no charge     or,   Expedited courier - Service/handling fees apply

          Normal method for non-sensitive documents only - Via regular USPS mail / airmail to a USA address
              Via USPS airmail to an overseas address   [click here for USPS help]

          Expedited method - Courier Services by 3rd Party companies - at additional cost.
          Via standard FedEx to a USA address, via overnight/next morning delivery, or expedited to an overseas address.

          PLEASE PROVIDE A PREPAID COMPLETED FEDEX AWB AIRWAYBILL.

          If you want us to use your own FedEx account for billing purposes, please advise your account number.

        Cost and Handling Surcharge
        In the event SEFCO is to process a FedEx AWB (to relay titles/OBL/other docs)
        the handling fee will be $ 75.00 per AWB airwaybill.

        The cost for any requested accessorial services (courier/other services)
        will be included in shippers statement of account. Please refer to our online payment guide for details.
