                  2) PROFESSIONAL SERVICES > per our posted rate schedules for export documents and handling  
                      cost of shipping/handling, freight forwarding, plus any ancillary special services

        New accounts > Protocol:   new booking requests are handled on first come basis, usually processed in 2-3 business days from receipt of funds.

        Important!   Don't wait to the last minute to act on a Sefco quote/confirmation.
        Some heavy demand trade lanes have long waiting lines for space. Space on many export voyages is booked well in advance of the actual departure date.

        Due to the nature of the freight forwarding/documentation business, all rates, bookings, confirmation of carrier terms/conditions, etc., are placed in writing. Verbal contracts are not permitted. Our sales department will need an email address in order to send rates.

        New shippers: Please take the time to read our company's normal terms and conditions for service, including: "(3) Buyer/shipper must give company any purchasing &/or shipping instructions in writing. The principal acceptable form of written communication is email. Company shall not assume any responsibility for any delays or omissions to shipment if instructions were not given in writing."
