Personally Owned Vehicles (POV) for export
Shippers/Vehicle Owners/Vehicle Dealers:
You should specify the year, make and model of the vehicle being shipped.
Shippers of High & Heavy (H/H) units: Be sure to give us the exact Lenght x Width x Height and weight of the unit to be shipped.
We can email you the rate confirmation.
Our contract for service is provided directly to the property owner (the "principal interest party") or related parties (eg., dealers.) Our vehicle-export forwarding dept. issues all normal export documentation: DR-dock receipt, SED, BL-bill of lading. If you have a non-standard vehicle/unit: school buses, RV's, boats, etc. - we will need the exact outside dimensions (length, width and height.) Without this information we can not confirm the cost.
Remember: Most SS line rates for such
shipments are valid for 30-days only, so you should be ready to ship within 1-month, for such a confirmation.
If you just want a general idea of cost for a shipment not to occur in the next 30-days,
please refer to our on-line rate guides which we periodically update.
Our guides have been developed over a period of several years, and are subject to change without prior notice.
They are meant to serve as a general guide only.
Please expect to receive a rate confirmation from us by email,
typically within 3- 5 business days of your export inquiry.
Allow 5 - 7 days for an import (to the US) rate confirmation.
If you are in a rush, please be sure to let us know.
